Reinventing a classic
The MEMORIS NEO Onyx boldly combines one of the brand’s classic cases with a modern, streamlined dial. This limited edition of 28 watches celebrates the deep black hue of the onyx, a dark and mysterious stone evoking both nobility and strength. Always been ascribed magical powers, onyx adds depth and brilliance to the dial and provides a strong contrast to the visible mechanical elements.

Rediscovering a signature case
The ORIGINAL case, with a 46-millimetre diameter, was the first to have been used for the famous MEMORIS chronograph and has thus become one of the great classics of the Louis Moinet brand.
Weighing a mere 31 gram and made of grade 5 titanium, this case is both lightweight and robust. This sophisticated architecture is made up of 60 components. The finishing is a fine example of the watchmaking art, with surfaces skilfully combining brushed and polished sections that subtly bring out the various parts of the case.
Take, for example, the staggered bezel, which is firmly mounted with six screws and elegantly plays with light and shadows. Straight lines contrast expressively with the softness of the rounded flanks. The latter has been delicately brushed and reveals the prestigious signature of Louis Moinet.
At two o’clock, the single pusher is decorated with the traditional Clous de Paris. The other noteworthy element is the crown guard with an interchangeable tube. It is composed of an independent stem integrated into a water-resistant mechanism. The whole section is affixed to the barrel by four screws.
As for the lugs, they have been decorated with black spinels subtly inserted into chatons. The balance of functionalities and aesthetic details is what gives the case ORIGINAL its unique quality.
A mechanical spectacle
With the MEMORIS timepieces, the chronograph mechanism is revealed in its entirety on the dial side. This lets the wearer admire how the different parts interact with each other when activated: start, stop, and zero reset. Over 500 components had to be conceived to create this timepiece.
The MEMORIS offers visual satisfaction. Pressing the monopusher sets off a unique mechanical ballet. The components – rockers, clutch, hammers, column wheel, springs, and wheels – come to life harmoniously and while the chronograph begins measuring time.
The magic of black onyx
The elegance of this mysterious stone pays homage to the passage of time on the MEMORIS NEO Onyx.
The box
A timeless echo of watchmaking genius
Each MEMORIS NEO Onyx timepiece comes with the iconic box modelled after the famous Treatise on Horology written by Louis Moinet in 1848, a reference work in watchmaking. This watch also comes with a pair of cufflinks representing Louis Moinet’s “Compteur de tierce”.
