Memoris Yucatán | A modern interpretation of the chronograph
Memoris Yucatán epitomises the immense potential of mechanics without compromising on style.
This creation finds unique expression thanks to the introduction of the boldly beautiful Yucatán green. An original colour that owes its vibrancy to a clever combination of sunburst satin-brushing, special-coloured varnish, as well as silvering to enhance its brilliance.
The design of this contemporary chronograph is inspired by the world's first chronograph produced in 1816 by Louis Moinet, inventor of the chronograph and of high frequency (Guinness World Record™️).

Louis Moinet (1768-1853) attached great importance to man's relationship with nature. It was in this capacity that he met Breguet, in order to study “brute strength”. These observations enabled him to carry out his own quest by inventing the chronograph in order to observe the astral world.

More than 500 components had to be developed in order to achieve this incomparable feat.

Memoris Yucatán comes in an exclusive hand-crafted wooden presentation box, sheathed in leather and featuring unique colours. It picks up the same aesthetic as the Traité d'horlogerie, written by Moinet himself in 1848, and thus conveys the brand's heritage.
