The AUTOSPRINT is the visual art of fascinating engineering incarnate: It shifts emotions to high gear and generates unforgettable moments.
Autosprint
“What I love in particular is the transition from the serenity of the tourbillon gently whirling, to the adrenaline rush triggered by the activation of the chronograph. From that moment on, the avant-garde mechanism launches a fascinating race against time, where every fraction of a second counts. It reminds me that it is often precisely these moments that redefine history…”

The legacy of two pioneers of horology
Abraham-Louis Breguet and Louis Moinet were close friends. And both were seminal figures in watchmaking. Breguet invented the tourbillon, and Moinet the chronograph. Today, Les Ateliers Louis Moinet draws on a deep pool of modern creativity to combine these two major complications in a single work, one that will generate strong emotions.
Conceived to be unique
AUTOSPRINT is not a limited series, but rather a series of unique pieces.
Collectors have the unique opportunity to personalise their AUTOSPRINT model by choosing a "lucky number" that looks just like a race car number. It can be one or two digits in length, will be displayed in the middle of the 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, ensuring, ensuring that each owner will possess a unique model.

“The three-dimensional architecture of these two compelling mechanisms asserts itself on the wrist thanks to high-end finishing by Louis Moinet’s craftspeople, who were joined by our long-time partner, Concepto. We assemble the watch in our own workshop in Les Breuleux. The signature on the watch is: Moinet, independent watchmaker.”

The AUTOSPRINT is driven by the in-house Memoris calibre, which is visible through the dial. The movement, made up of 305 parts, bears all the Louis Moinet DNA. It includes a column wheel, a classic horizontal clutch, and a monopusher system.
The column wheel, the central organ of this mechanism, orchestrates the start, stop, and zero-reset functions with utmost precision. These three functions are launched by a single element, namely, the monopusher.
The flying tourbillon, which exemplifies the highest level of modern horological technology, seems to hover in midair. The off-centre cage performs one revolution per minute. One section is in a striking colour that resonates with the dial creating a captivating visual ensemble.
The AUTOSPRINT is driven by a hand-wound mechanism with a double barrel spring. Its system, described as “volte-face,” has one barrel mounted upside down over the other. The two discharge their energy simultaneously and serially, delivering an impressive power reserve of 96 hours.
Ultimate performance
The fumé sapphire dial opens onto a carbon-fibre mainplate that suggests speed and state-of-the-art engineering. An opening in the sapphire crystal lets you admire the tourbillon's 60-second cage. The sleek hands have been designed especially to underscore the daring and dynamic character of the AUTOSPRINT.
Even in darkness, the AUTOSPRINT lets the wearer read the time and each second measured out by the chronograph thanks to integrated luminescent material.
The AUTOSPRINT also has a tachymeter, which lets you measure speeds. It is a key technical asset, ideal for those who are passionate about horological mechanics and performance.
The AUTOSPRINT case
Dynamic sculpting
The AUTOSPRINT case has a diameter of 42.5 millimetres and is remarkable for its natural elegance. It's shapely silhouette, the distinct lines, the openworked sections give it a frankly dynamic look. Its very style defies conventions and embodies the avant-garde spirit that governs the Louis Moinet brand.
Top technology and finest crafting
Great effort was made when developing the AUTOSPRINT case to house the exceptional movement. And it was a major challenge. A visionary design had to be implemented in the smallest details and without any compromises. The process demanded perfect harmony between modern solutions and the traditional expertise of our craftspeople. Building the case involved high-level technical development, the use of specially designed tools, and meticulous hand-finishing, all orchestrated by highly qualified professionals. For the finishing alone, experts from six different crafts were deployed.
Thanks to technology, the AUTOSPRINT case now has a unique expression, one that blends form and function into an exceptional horological creation.
Sculptural design, noble finishings
The composition of the AUTOSPRINT case is both a technical and aesthetic feat, with lines defined by the aerodynamics stipulated by the design. The undercarriage, which is the product of ingenious assembling, is composed of four distinct elements: two lateral sections, a case back, and a bezel, all made of Grade 5 titanium. Indeed, the AUTOSPRINT is an unbelievably light watch. The clear choice of titanium ensures an optimal weight/robustness ratio, while guaranteeing outstanding comfort for the wearer.
The bilateral elements, with their stylised and openwork lugs, form well-defined and bold lines. A precise cut-out in the side of the watch reveals an inner case also made of grade 5 titanium, but now with a deep black coating.
The bezel is a complex, modern construction. It features bead-blasted recesses, which is another of the brands stylistic hallmarks. Furthermore, the domed sapphire crystal overlooks a fumé sapphire dial that reveals the spectacular conception of the mechanism and optimises the reading of the chronographic functions.
The finishing on these elements alternates between polished, satin brushed, and bead-blasted, creating mesmerizing light reflections.
Another highlight of this AUTOSPRINT case is the single pusher at 2 o’clock. It is a genuine signature element of Louis Moinet and is paired with a crown decorated with a fleur-de-lys.
The ultra-modern design is further enhanced by a strap of coloured, preformed rubber, that it is sturdy and comfortable and perfectly extends from the case. This timepiece comes with a second strap, a black one, for variation in style, while still staying true to the overall racing spirit.
Carefully observing the AUTOSPRINT timepiece is an invitation to explore many details that reveal the merger of two worlds: horological heritage and innovation, function and design, emotion and ergonomics.
