Neuchâtel Observatory – Entrance hall, Hirsch Pavilion
The hall is dedicated to the Zodiac: the circle containing the 12 signs along the path of the Sun, and depicted on 12 different doors – whether real or fake. Entirely crafted in repoussé bronze, in the “Sapin” style of Charles L’Eplatennier and the Ateliers d’Art, it creates a magical, fairytale atmosphere.
