Napoleon Bonaparte – the Moinet moon, unique and different
Louis Moinet created an ornate clock in 1806 for the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. The moon phase was ingeniously displayed by means of a tiny ivory ball. In 2009, the Ateliers Louis Moinet also innovated with the presentation of Magistralis, a unique watch that became the first to include an authentic lunar meteorite fragment.
