Design of the Year 2024 from the Muse Design Award
The COSMOPOLIS has once again distinguished itself on the watchmaking and design scene by winning the title of “Design of the Year 2024” from the MUSE DESIGN AWARD.
This exceptional timepiece already holds the world record “most meteorite inserts in a watch” from the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™. And last year, it also charmed the jurors of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year Awards, who awarded it the title of “Best Design Watch”.
A mysterious aura surrounds the COSMOPOLIS. Its unique artistry immediately draws the eye. Ten meteorites gaze from the dial, each carefully set on a specially designed base. At its centre is a rare, bewitching lunar meteorite, while a fascinating black chondrite peers out mysteriously from the back of the tourbillon cage. Twelve celestial fragments all told are what make up the COSMOPOLIS. Each has its own unique story. Some date back to the beginning of our solar system, others contain the first known traces of life.
The COSMOPOLIS will be the star of the SIAR Summer, the must-see watchmaking event in Mexico City, which opened its doors yesterday at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel.
